The sixth game of the 70th Oushou Title series 7-game match ,where Nagase Ouza was challenging Watanabe Oushou was held at Sanbesou in Oda city on March 13th and 14th.
Oda city is a city of great history and natural beauty, with such features as the World Heritage Site Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine , Mt. Sanbe National Park 、sentimental and emotive Yunotsu Hot Springs, the world’s largest hourglass Sunagoyomi at Nima Sand Museum, Azukihara Buried Forest Park and the singing sand at Kotogahama Beach. It takes 90 mintues by air from Tokyo Haneda airport to Izumo enmusubi airport and 60 minutes from Izummo enmusubi airport to oda city by car.
Sente was Nagase Ouza. He is currently in perfect condition with 7 consecutive wins in the last 10 games with 7 wins and 3 losses and also promoted to A class in Ranking League. He wanted to win this game to force.
On the other hand, Watnabe Oushou is now fighting Kiou Title series at the same time. Last 10 games was 6 wins and 4 loss. He lost Nagase Ouza in the fifth game of Oushou title Series, so he wanted to stop Nagase Ouza`s momentum. Game form was Bishop exchange. There were repetition with 72 moves at 2:11pm on the first day. After one hour break, rematch game started at 3:11pm.
Nagese Ouza does not bother to repetition or Impase. He had one repetition and two impase in Eiou Title Series last Summer. He loves shogi at the bottom of his heart doesn`t he?
Because of rematch game, sente and gote switched. Watanabe oushou was sente.
Game form was also Bishop exchange. Both king are sitting king.
Watanabe oushou won with 113 moves. he won 3 consecutive oushou title Series and ranked 4th in the history of wining titles with Tanikawa9-dan whose records were 27 titles.
Watanabe oushou will have kiou Title series on February 17th. I wish he set a new wining title record.
