The 95th Kisei title series final tournament- Akira Watanabe 9-dan Vs Yamasaki 8-dan was held at Tokyo shogi kaikan. Game form was one-turn loss bishop exchange . Yamasaki 8-dan won with 116 moves. He moved to semi final.

 

The 95th Kisei title series final tournament- Amahiko Satou 9-dan Vs Takuya Nishida 5-dan was held at Tokyo shogi kaikan. Game form was opposition form. Nishida 5-dan chose bishop-exchanging swinging rook. Satou 9-dan won with 119 moves. He moved to semi final.

The 74th NHK shogi tournament-  Sawada 7-dan Vs Ueno 4-dan was held on TV program.  Game form was double wing attack.  Sawada 7-dan won with 121 moves.
