The first game of 8th Eiou Title Series 5 game matches where Sugai 8-dan was challenging Fuji Eiou was held at Kanda Myoujin in Tokyo. This was the first time for Fujii Eiou to play swinging rook player in title Series. This was the first time for swinging rook player to play title Series since Kubo 9-dan was challenging Ouza Title in 2020.
Sente was Fujii Eiou. Game form was opposition form. Sugai 8-dan chose 3rd file rook and formed silver crown. Fujii Eiou chose static rook and also formed silver crown. Fujii Eiou won with 147 moves.

36th Ryuou Title 1 group Ranking Series- Nagase Ouza vs Habu 9-dan was held at Tokyo Shogi kaikan. Sente was Habu 9-dan. Game form was Bishop exchange and reclining silver. Habu 9-dan won a sweeping victory with 79 moves and advanced to final in 1 group and final tournament. Game was finished before dinner break.
64th Oui Tile League in red group – Ishii 6-dan vs Tokuda 4-dan was held in Kansai shogi Kaikan. Game form was Bishop exchange and reclining silver .Tokuda 4-dan won with 107 moves. Tokuda 4-da`s score in red group is 2 win and 2 loses. Ishii 6-dan`s score is one win and 2 loses.
