The fifth game of the 72th Oushou Title series 7-game match, where Habu 9-dan was challenging Fujii Oushou was held at Sanbe sou in ooda city on February 25th and 26th. Score was Fujii oushou two wins , Habu 9-dan two wins.
Sente was Fujii Oushou. Game form was side pawn picker. Situation balance was equal.
Second day
Fujii Ousho was better situation balance at first. Habu 9-dan put gold on his camp (76 moves) , which was persistent defense. Fujii Ousho was thinking this move for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. After this move, Habu9-dan mounted counterattack . Habu -9 dan began to attack with own knight (82 moves.)
After this move, Habu 9-dan was better situation balance. Most funs thought that Habu 9-dan would win.
Fujii Ousho attacked with knight in hand . Habu 9-dan made a mistake(88 moves). He did not choose offence but defense. Fujii Ousho became better situation balance and approached opponent`s king vividly.
Fujii Oushou won with 101 moves. Next game will be held on March 11th and 12th.
