The fourth game of the 72th Oushou Title series 7-game match, where Habu 9-dan was challenging Fujii Oushou was held at Sorana Hotel in Tachikawa city on February 9th and 10th. Score was Fujii Oushou one win , Habu 9-dan one win.
1ST day.
Sente was Habu 9-dan. Game form was Bishop exchange and Double Reclining silver.
Both players played same moves several times, which was tactics in Bishop Exchange.
Habu 9-dan formed a new piece building to avoid repetition.
Fujii Oushou began to attack with 50 moves. Habu 9-dan fought back with a vengeance.
He attacked at once in spite of material loss. Fujii Oushou was thinking about it for 57 minutes and put silver on his camp to defend opponent`s attack.
Habu 9-dan promoted knight to check (65 moves). Fujii Oushou had 2 choices, King took or silver took. Fujii Ousho was thinking about this for 2 hours and 24 minutes and chose sealed move.
2nd day
Sealed move was king took. This was a mistake. Habu 9-dan was better situation balance.
Habu 9-dan continued to attack. Fujii Oushou put Bishop on his camp. Habu 9-dan exchanged rook for Bishop and put bishop on enemy`s camp. AI evaluation was Habu 9-dan 94%, Fujii Ousho 6% in the morning of the second day. Thinking time was Habu 9-dan 5 hours 11 minutes left , Fujii Oushou 1 hour 31 minutes left. Habu 9-dan did not make mistake and chose move carefully.
Habu 9-dan won with 107 moves. Next game will be held on February 25h and 26th. I am looking for next game.
