The second game of the 72th Oushou Title series 7-game match where Habu 9-dan was challenging Fujii Oushou was held at Sansuikan in Takatuki city on January 21th and 22th. Score was Fujii five crown one-win.
Oushou Title Series at Sansuikan has been held for 5 consecutive years and 5 times.
Kansai shogi kaikan will move to Takatuki city this year.
Sente was Habu 9-dan. Game form was Double wing attack. It was a fierce opening game. Both players exchanged rook two times, and exchanged bishop for gold.
Habu 9-dan put gold on the other side of opponent`s King (59 moves) at the middle game. This move was said “move of another dimension”. Tanikawa 17th Permanent Meijin said “Habu 9-dan played this move because Fujii Oushou had no defensive piece. I cannot think about this move.”
Habu 9-dan was better situation balance.
Fujii Ousho played check rush at the end game. If Habu 9-dan had made one mistake, he would have been sudden death. He managed to defend Fujii Oushou`s offence.
Habu 9-dan won with 101 moves. Next game will be held on January 28th and 29th.
