The sixth game of Ryuou Title Series

 

 The sixth game of the 35th Ryuou Title series 7-game Series, where Hirose 8-dan was challenging Fujii Ryuou was held at Ibusuki Hakusuikan in ibusuki city (located in Kagoshima prefecture) on December2h and 3th. Ibusuki Hakusuikan was the place where Habu 9-dan won permanent 7 crowns in 2017.  Score was Hirose 8-dan two win, Fujii Ryuou three wins.

 

Sente was Fujii Ryuou.  Game form was Bishop exchange and Double reclining silver.

This game was Fujii Ryuou`s offence VS Hirose 8-dan`s defense.  The first day`s situation balance was even.

 

Fujii Ryuou attacked by sacrificing his rook on the second day. After this move, Fujii Ryuou took the lead. Hirose 8-dan was thinking about counterattacks for about 2 hours, but  he could not fight back effectively. He played chance-taking move several times, but could not approach Fujii Ryuou`s king. Fujii Ryuou kept attacking and approached Hirose8-dan`s king vividly.

 

  Fujii Ryuou won a sweeping victory with 113 moves. He was the youngest Ryuou Title defender (20 years and 4 month)and broke the record of Watanabe double crown`s 21 years and 7 months for the first time in 17 years.
