The fourth game of the 35th Ryuou Title series 7-game Series, where Hirose 8-dan was challenging Fujii Ryuou was held at Fukuchiyama Castle in Fukuchiyama city (located in Kyoto prefecture) on November 8h and 9th. Score was Hirose 8-dan one win , Fujii Ryuou two wins.
Sente was Fujii Ryuou. Game form was bishop exchange double reclining silver.
Hirose 8-dan`s strategy was to counterattack with piece in hand. Fujii Ryou's attack was very simple but Hirose 8-dan was annoying this attack. He was unwilling to defend with knight. Fujii Ryuou widened the situation balance and approached opponent`s king vividly.
Fujii Ryuou won a sweeping victory with 95 moves. The game on the second day started at 9:00am and finished at 3;21pm, which was the shortest of his second-day title Series. Next game will be held on November 25th and 26th. I am looking for Hirose 8-dan`s rollback.
