The fifth game of the 63th Oui Title series 7-game Series, where Toyoshima 9-dan was challenging Fujii Oui was held at Heiden temple in Makinohara city (located in Shizuoka prefecture) on September 5th and 6th. Score was Toyoshima 9-dan one win. Fujii Oui three win.
Sente was Toyoshima 9-dan. Game form was bishop exchange and double reclining silver.
Fujii Oui attacked from 5th file, which was near his king at the middle game. On the other hand, Toyoshima 9-dan put bishop on the 9 th file in his camp to put a brake on Fujii Oui`s attack.
Fujii Oui put bishop in 1th file at the end game, which was a far-seeing bishop. Hirose 8-dan (Ameba TV commentator in this game) said “it was a famous move.” Situation balance was changing. Nobody knew which would win. Toyoshima 9-dan made one mistake, and Fujii Oui was better situation balance.
Finally, Fujii oui sacrificed rook and knight and approached Toyoshima 9-dan`s king vividly.
Fujii Oui won with 128 moves. Fujii Oui has won Oui Title Series for three consecutive years. Fujii Oui won 10 titles at the age of 20 years and 1month. He was the fastest and youngest Professional Shogi player to get 10 titles and broke the record of Habu 9-dan`s 23 years and 4 months.
