The first game of transfer professional shogi player exam 5 game matches, where Satomi Ladies 5 crown was challenging Tokuda 4-dan was held at Kansai shogi Kaikan on August 18th. Each thinking time is three hours. Ladies professional shogi players were for women, but professional shogi players are regardless of gender. There are no professional shogi female players so far. This is the first female challenger in this exam.
Satomi Ladies 5 crown used to belong to Shoureikai 3 -Dan League, but she could not be professional shogi player. After she withdrew shoureikai , She continued to take part in professional shogi tournament. Finally She won 10 game and 4 loss this year and got qualified for transfer professional shogi player exam .
There are five games in this exam. If she wins three games, she will be the first professional female Shogi player.
Sente was Tokuda 4-dan. Game form was opposition form. Satomi Ladies 5 crown chose gokigen central rook and formed Mino Castle , Tokuda 4-dan chose rapid attack. Both players` silver crashed each other at the center.
Tokuda 4 dan was better situation balance at the middle game and opened up lead gradually at the end game. Tokuda 4-dan was playing very safely. Satomi Ladies 5 crown played chance-taking move several times at the end game, she could not catch opponent`s king.
Tokuda 4-dan won with 127 moves. Next game will be held on September 22th. Nest Opponent is Okabe 4-dan. I wish she will win next game.
