The second game of the 63th Oui Title series 7-game match, where Toyoshima 9-dan was challenging Fujii Oui was held at Furukawa Ryokan in Sapporo City on July 13th and 14th. Score was Toyoshima 9-dan one win.
Game form was Bishop exchange. Sente was Fujii Oui. Fujii Oui exchanged lance for pawn and took opponent`s knight with pawn on the first day. After these moves, Fujii Oui was better situation balance.
Toyoshima 9-dan had 11 pieces in hand at the end game. On the other hand , Fujii Oui had no piece in hand. Toyoshima 9-dan could not use pieces effectively. Because Fujii Oui`s king was enclosed tightly, He could only one check(88 moves).
Fujii Oui won with a complete victory with 99 moves in this game. I am looking for next game.
