The third game of the seventh Eiou Title Series 5 game match where Deguchi 6-dan is challenging Fujii Eiou was held at Kashiwanoha Conference center in Kashiwa city (Chiba prefecture) on May 24th. Score was Fujii Eiou two win.
Sente was Fujii Eiou. Game form was Double Wing attack. Situation balance was equal at the opening and middle game. Deguchi 6-dan was better situation balance at the end game, at which both players were one -minute game.
Deguchi 6-dan had a mate line, but he could not find one.
Fujii Eiou made a big turn around. Fuji Eiou won with 109 moves. Fuji Eiou won 13 consecutive wins in Title Series and tied Habu 9-dan`s second ever record. After the game, both players attended large board commentary at conference room. Deguchi 6-dan said “I thought that I had a chance to win. I felt regrettable. I will try again.” After he heard of applause of audience, he moved to tears.
Next Defending Title Sereis- "Kisei Title Series" will begin on June 3th. I am looking for next game.
