The first game of the 47th Kiou Title series 5-game match ,where Nagase Ouza was challenging Watanabe Kiou was held at Yaizu ground hotel in Yaizu city on February 6th.
Both Players are fighting kiou Title Series four years ago. Watanabe Kiou defended Kiou Title, whose score was 3 win 2 lose. Nagase Ouza wanted to revenge 4 years ago and be Double crown.
If Watanabe Kiou wins these Series, He will win 10 consecutive times and break his kiou title record.
Sente was Nagase Ouza. Game form was Yagura VS Snow roof. At the opening game, Nagase Ouza controlled the Rook`s movement with his bishop. Watanabe kiou sacrificed his pawn and prepared for attack with silver and gold. His gold was moving to 4th rank. It was unique strategy wasn`t it?
Both players spent all holding time (4 hours) and began one-minute game at the end game.
Nagase Ouza prepared for king entering with his horse and Dragon. Watanabe Kiou tried to stop it. Finally Watanabe Kiou captured opponent's king in his camp.
