The fourth game of the 62th Oui Title series 7-game match, where Toyoshima Ryuou was challenging Fujii Oui was held at Kansai Shogi kaikan in Osaka prefecture on August 18th and 19h.
Both players are also fighting EiouTitle Series at the same time now. Aiou Title series’ score was Fujii Double crown two win. Toyoshima Eiou one win. Oui Title series’ score was Toyoshima Eiou one win, Fujii oui two win.
Oui Title Series ＋Aiou Title Series’ score (Total game is 12 games - Eiou Title Series are 5 games , Oui Title Series are 7-games ) was Fujii Double Crown four win. Toyoshima Eiou two win.
The fourth game was supposed to be held at Watayabesso in Saga prefecture. Because of the heavy rain disaster in Saga prefecture, game place was changed to Kansai shogi kaikan.
Fujii Double crown were the second time to play title series there (The first time was Kisei Title Series on July 16th in2020).
Game form was double wing attack. Both players exchanged Bishop each other.
Toyoshima Ryuou changed from central house to kikusuiyagura. Fujii Oui formed central house. They put bishop in own camp each other at opening and middle game. Situation balance was even.
Fujii Oui got better in situation balance at the end game. Toyoshima Ryuou defended
his king as much as possible, but he could not get a chance to approach Fujii Oui`s king.
Fujii oui won with 140 moves. If he wins next game(It will be held on August 24th,
25th) , he will defend oui Title.
If he wins nest game on August 22 in Eiou title series, He will be the youngest three crown.
