The second game of the 46th Kiou title series 5-game match ,where Itonai 8-dan was challenging Watanabe Kiou was held at Hokkoku Shinbunkaikan in Kanazawa Cityon February 20th. They have held Kiou title series for 14 years (since 2008)in a row at Hokkoku Shinbunkaikan. Within walking distance of them, there are Kanazawa Castle park and kenroku-en, which is one of the three most beautiful Japanese garden.
Score was itotani 8-dan one win. He prefers to true ability game form and is very good at Fast-seeing and blitze-game. He beat Maruyama 9-dan with 39 moves in the second station of the NHK Trophy Semifinals on March 20, 2011.
Game form was Rapid advancing siliver VS right-band king. Ittani 8-dan was sente. After they exchanged bishop each other, Watanabe kiou chose rapid advancing silver, Itotani8-dan chose right-band king. Watanabe kiou reversed Itotani-8dan`s edge attack .Ai`s Evaluation was Watanabe kiou`s predominance in all game.
Watanabe kiou won with 90 moves. I thought that Itotani 8-dan could not show his favarite tactics. I am looking forward to next game.
