The ninth game of the fifth Eiou Title match where Toyoshima Ryuuou is challenging Nagase Eiou was held at Tokyo Shogi kaikan in September 10th. Toyoshima beat Nagase Eiou and returned double crown. Toyoshima Ryuou lost Meijin title on August 15th, but he returned double crown soon.
The fifth Eiou Title match was broken longest movement record(1418 movemant). Previous record was 1230movenat which occurred in Mejin Title match Nakahara VS Katou 10-dan in 1980.
