On Tuesday Febrauary 25, Amateure Shogi player ORITA SHOGO known as Shogi You Tuber passe the professional transfer exam. He is the fourth person to pass the professional transfer exam. He just graduated from Junior high school, He enterd the Shoureikai, but due to the restriction of the age ,
He was forded to leave Shoureikai.
He did not give up to be the dream of being a Professional shogi player. After he left shoureikai, He started to be a Shogi You Tuber. He also joined amateur Shogi tournament and got the amateur Championship. After he got the champion ship, he could take part in professional Shogi Tournament called Ginga Tournament. He won 11 and 4 loss in this tornament. Because of his great score, he got a chance to get qualification of professional transfer exam, his You tube performance motivated lots of Shogi fun and got a $42,000(1dollar =110yen) from cloud funding to support of his exam.
They had five games in exam, If he won 3 games , he could be professional shogi player. There were the fourth match on Tueday Febrauary 25. His score was 2 win- 1 loss. If he won , He could be a professional Shogi playher. Opponet is Honda 5- dan, who was a challenger of 45th Kio Tournament five-game match.
In addition to strong player, On Tuesday February 25, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were supposed to anounce Covid policy at 6pm.
Despite the worst condition . He was playing a good game. He was staying calm, concentrating on playing exam. Finally he won this game, and be a professional player.
